KELLNER APPOINTED AS DEAN OF STEM, HEALTH & EDUCATION AT CENTRAL WYOMING COLLEGE

RIVERTON, Wyo. –- Central Wyoming College (CWC) proudly announces the appointment of Jennifer Kellner as the new Dean of STEM, 健康 & 教育.

With a distinguished career spanning more than two decades at Central Wyoming College, Kellner brings a wealth of academic leadership and a deep commitment to student success to her new role.

Throughout her tenure at Central Wyoming College, Kellner has held various pivotal roles, including Professor of Mathematics and Assistant Volleyball Coach. She has been instrumental in curriculum development, overseeing courses such as College Algebra, 微积分, and Business 微积分.

“Jennifer Kellner’s passion for student success and commitment to community engagement make her an ideal candidate for this role,” Dr. Kathy Wells, VP for Academic Affairs at CWC. “We are excited to see the positive impact she will have on our STEM, 健康 and 教育 programs.”

Her leadership extended to managing concurrent enrollment programs for high school students and spearheading faculty committees on program assessment and curriculum enhancement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kellner to this critical leadership role,” says CWC President Brad Tyndall. “Her extensive experience, combined with her innovative vision and dedication to student-centered learning, will undoubtedly elevate our STEM, 健康 & 教育 programs and empower our students to excel.”

Kellner’s professional journey also includes significant contributions to the academic community, evidenced by her involvement in the Bachelor of Applied Science Design Committee and her presentations at prestigious conferences such as the Wyoming Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges.

In addition to her academic leadership roles, Kellner has been actively involved in community engagement initiatives, including serving as a judge for the FFA Marketing Plan Contest and the West Central Regional Science Fair.

Kellner’s appointment signifies CWC’s commitment to providing high-quality education in STEM and 健康 disciplines. She will continue to advance the college’s mission of academic excellence and community impact.

Kellner is pursuing a Doctorate of 教育 in Mathematics 教育 from the University of Wyoming, anticipated for completion in December 2024. Her dissertation, “Infusing Activity-Based Learning in Corequisite Algebra Workshops: Supporting Students’ Academic Achievement,” exemplifies her dedication to enhancing educational methodologies.
